Description

Trinocular Microscope iScope is a laboratory light microscope designed for transmitted-light observation and camera documentation via a dedicated photo/video port. Corrected E-Plan DIN objectives on a five-position nosepiece—4x/0,10, 10x/0,25, 20x/0,40, S40x/0,65 and S100x/1,25 oil immersion—deliver magnifications of 40x, 100x, 400x and 1000x. Wide-field EWF 10x/22 mm eyepieces work with a trinocular head that rotates 360°, enabling simultaneous visual observation and imaging. The rackless mechanical stage (187/230 x 140 mm) uses belt-drive guidance for precise specimen travel without an exposed rack. A height-adjustable Abbe condenser with N.A. 1,25 and adjustable 3 W NeoLED transmitted-light illumination, powered by an internal 85–240 V supply, provide uniform field illumination for brightfield routines. This configuration from manufacturer Windaus arrives in styrofoam packaging with dust cover, spare fuse and instructions, and is suited to teaching, clinical and research laboratories that need stable NeoLED lighting together with a trinocular port for documentation.

Questions about Trinokulares Mikroskop IScope

What is this article?

Trinokulares Mikroskop IScope is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Windaus for laboratory use. It sits in Microscope objectives, eyepieces & optics, inside Microscopy & histology, in Lab instruments.

An objective makes the resolution. Magnification and numerical aperture are the two numbers, and the tube length or the infinity correction has to match the microscope. An eyepiece mostly enlarges the image the objective already resolved. A mismatched objective does not become sharper by zooming.

A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
