twin.tec® real-time 96 PCR plate, unskirted, blue, is a low-profile multiwell plate designed for real-time PCR and fluorescence-based detection. The plate offers 96 sample positions with white wells that enhance light reflection for improved optical readouts, while the blue frame aids visual identification on the bench. Each well holds up to 150 µL and has raised rims for reliable sealing with films or caps. Thin well walls support efficient, uniform heat transfer during cycling, and the plate structure provides high mechanical stability for manual and automated workflows. The unskirted layout is compatible with a wide range of real-time thermal cyclers. Plates are PCR clean and autoclavable at 121 °C for 20 minutes; optional barcoding is available on request. Supplied by manufacturer Eppendorf in packs of 20 plates, the twin.tec real-time series is also offered in certified purity grades such as PCR clean and Eppendorf Forensic DNA Grade. Ideal for qPCR, melt-curve and related fluorescence assays requiring stable thermal and optical performance.
