twin.tec® PCR Plate 96 skirted is a colourless PCR plate with colourless wells, designed for dependable thermal cycling and secure sample tracking. The fully skirted format provides mechanical stability on automated decks and thermal cyclers, while 2D SafeCode combined with high-resolution coding (HRC) enables unambiguous plate identification throughout the workflow. Three-level coding is applied on three sides of each plate for flexible barcode reading; ECC 200 error correction still permits correct decoding when codes are damaged by as much as 30 %. Additional plate-specific data for documentation can be accessed via the Eppendorf DataPort and imported directly into eLabInventory and eLabJournal® software, or into other laboratory information systems. Manufactured from high-quality polypropylene by Eppendorf, the plates are delivered PCR clean to help maintain sample integrity. Supplied as a pack of 25 plates, they are well suited to routine and high-throughput PCR, qPCR set-up and automated liquid-handling applications in molecular biology laboratories.
