Description
Ultra Clear RO EDI 30 is a reverse osmosis and electrodeionisation (EDI) combination pure water system that continuously generates pure water from drinking water with conductivity down to 0,055 µS/cm. At 15 °C the pure-water output is 30 l/h, with specified quality below 0,2 µS/cm and typical values below 0,07 µS/cm. High-performance RO membranes deliver high yield and salt rejection while limiting energy use and water loss; a hydraulically optimised Ionpure EDI cell provides the polishing stage. Automatic system flush before standby, microprocessor control of feed, permeate and pure-water conductivity, adjustable limit values and clear-text status and alarm displays support reliable laboratory operation. The ready-to-connect unit from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies is housed in a space-saving plastic enclosure with hinged front access. Feed requirements include hardness-free or hardness-stabilised water (typical demand about 75 l/h), inlet pressure 0,1–5 bar, temperature 5–30 °C and conductivity below 1400 µS/cm. Maximum working pressure is 6 bar; maximum energy demand is 350 W at 90–260 VAC, 50–60 Hz. Dimensions are 340 mm × 420 mm × 520 mm; net weight is 30 kg.

Questions about Ultra Clear RO EDI 30 Reverse osmosis/ EDI combination Pure Water System
What is this article?
Ultra Clear RO EDI 30 Reverse osmosis/ EDI combination Pure Water System is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrapure & pure water systems, inside Water purification, in Lab instruments.
A pure-water system, often by reverse osmosis and deionisation, feeds the laboratory. An ultrapure polisher takes that water to the resistivity and organic levels HPLC or cell culture ask for. Production rate and the feed water it expects are the specification. The system is not a cooler.
Laboratory water is a reagent. Tap water carries ions, organics and microbes that become part of every result they touch. A pure-water system takes most of them out. An ultrapure system, often a polisher after a first stage, is what HPLC, cell culture and trace analysis ask for. Resistivity, total organic carbon and endotoxin are different claims. A cartridge is spent when the number drifts, not when the calendar says so. The measurement of those impurities sits with NIST and the BIPM.
