Description

Ultrasonic material thickness gauge SAUTER TO 100-0.01EE is a handheld premium instrument for measuring material thickness by the echo-echo method. New NT measurement technology provides automatic sensor adaptation with V-path correction for improved accuracy and faster display response. Dual measuring modes cover pulse-echo operation up to 600 mm and echo-echo operation up to 100 mm. Echo-echo measurement determines true wall thickness independently of coatings such as paint or anti-corrosion layers, so pipe walls can be checked non-destructively without removing the coating. Suitable materials include metal, plastic, ceramic, composites, epoxy and glass. High-precision mode switches readability from 0,1 mm to 0,01 mm. A TFT colour display (320×240) with adjustable brightness supports clear reading under varied conditions. Internal memory stores up to 100 data series of 100 values each. Power comes from 2× AA batteries for at least 30 hours of operation, with adjustable auto-off and stand-by. USB data interface, triple calibration, standard/scan/difference modes and programmable limit alarms are included. Menu languages are DE, EN, FR, ES and IT. Supplied from manufacturer Kern with ATU-US12 probe (Ø 10 mm head), contact gel, batteries, interface cable SAUTER FL-A01, instructions and a robust carrying case.

Questions about Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge SAUTER TO, 100-0.01EE

What is this article?

Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge SAUTER TO, 100-0.01EE is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Kern for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrasonic baths & cleaners, inside Ultrasonic baths & lab washers, in Lab instruments.

An ultrasonic cleaner drops parts into a bath where collapsing bubbles scrub joints and bores. Tank volume and ultrasonic power are the ratings. A basket keeps items off the tank floor, where the transducers are. The liquid is usually water plus a cleaning concentrate, not a strong solvent, unless the tank is rated for it.

An ultrasonic bath cleans by cavitation: the sound collapses tiny bubbles against the surface and lifts soil out of joints a brush cannot reach. The chemistry of the bath liquid still matters. A laboratory glassware washer is the machine that replaces hand washing when the load is large or the result has to be repeatable. Rinse water quality decides whether the glass comes out spotted. The ware being washed is listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
