Description
Vacuum drying oven VDL023-120V is a compact safety vacuum drying cabinet for drying organic solvents under vacuum, with a nominal volume of 21 l and a maximum operating temperature of +110 °C. Controllable parameters include air pressure and vacuum, supported by program memory for automated drying sequences. The appliance is explosion-protected and classified in line with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU as EX II 2/3/- G IIB T3 Gb/Gc/- X. An intuitive touchscreen controller presents pressure and temperature graphically, and program-controlled drying monitoring provides automatic ventilation when the process ends. An internal data logger records measured values for open-format USB export; Ethernet is the computer interface. Two aluminium expansion shelves can be positioned individually. Universal ventilation works with inert gas or ambient air, a DN 16 universal feed-through admits external measuring equipment, and a spring-mounted safety glass pane with shatter protection together with a large viewing window enable secure visual checks. This Binder VDL series model is supplied as 1 pc with United States mains plug (Type A/B) for professional laboratory use.

Questions about Vacuum drying chambers VDL023-120V
What is this article?
Vacuum drying chambers VDL023-120V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Binder for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
