Volumetric flask, class A, with blue graduation, PP stopper and protective coating, 5 ml nominal capacity and NS 10/19 joint, is intended for precise volumetric work with hazardous or valuable solutions. Made from heat-resistant borosilicate glass 3.3, the flask body carries a specially formulated transparent coating that acts like a protective glove. Should breakage occur, the coating holds the glass fragments together, reducing impact effects and minimising leakage so that in most cases the solution remains contained inside the vessel. The coating withstands temperatures up to 135 °C for a maximum of 30 minutes, may be cleaned at up to 95 °C and autoclaved at 121 °C; direct contact with an open flame must be avoided. Identical technical specifications apply to the corresponding clear and amber series from manufacturer ISOLAB Laborgeräte. Blue graduation markings support clear meniscus reading, while the polypropylene stopper provides a secure seal. Supplied in packs of 2 pieces, these coated class A flasks are well suited to analytical preparation and dilution tasks in research and quality-control laboratories.
