Description

Data logger for temperature recording 88160 is a compact temperature logger that stores up to 48 000 readings for continuous monitoring in laboratories, cold-chain and climate-control applications. The measuring range covers −30 to 70 °C with a resolution of 0,1 °C and a precision of ±0,5 °C, supporting reliable documentation of storage and process temperatures. An LED display with alarm plus minimum, maximum and timestamp functions simplifies on-site checks, while compliance with EN 12830 addresses standardised temperature recording requirements. Integrated USB allows data to be transferred to a PC and exported as PDF or Excel reports containing summaries, graphs and detailed values. The unit is fully programmable for six languages, measuring interval, start delay, alarm delay, units, alarm range, alarm type, password and user settings. Model 88160 offers IP67 protection for demanding environments. Operation uses two included 3,0 V CR2032 batteries with an approximate nine-month life and a two-year warranty. This Labbox METRIA logger is supplied as 1 piece and suits temperature logging where sealed, standalone recording and straightforward PC reporting are required.

Questions about Data logger for temperature measurement, 88160

What is this article?

Data logger for temperature measurement, 88160 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Data loggers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A data logger stores a temperature, a humidity or another signal over time, so a shipment or a room has a record rather than a spot reading. The interval, the memory and the sensor range are the specification. A logger that is full has stopped being a record.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
