Description
Data logger for temperature, humidity and pressure recording, 88163 is a compact multi-parameter logger designed to capture temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure in laboratory and climate-monitoring workflows. It stores up to 48 000 readings and covers a temperature range of −30 to 70 °C with 0,1 °C resolution and ±0,5 °C precision. Relative humidity is measured from 0,1 to 99 % (0,1 % resolution, 3 % precision), while barometric pressure on this 88163 model spans 300 to 1100 hPa (0,1 hPa resolution, 3 hPa precision). An LED display supports alarm, minimum, maximum and timestamp functions, and the unit complies with EN 12830. Integrated USB allows data transfer to a PC for PDF or Excel reports with summaries, graphs and detailed values. Fully programmable options include six languages, measuring interval, start and alarm delays, units, alarm range and type, password and user settings. Supplied as 1 pc from manufacturer Labbox, the housing is rated IP65 (excluding the sensor), runs on two included 3,0 V CR2032 batteries with about nine months’ life, and carries a two-year warranty. Net weight is 0,122 kg.

Questions about Data logger for temperature, RH and pressure measurement, 88163
What is this article?
Data logger for temperature, RH and pressure measurement, 88163 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Data loggers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.
A data logger stores a temperature, a humidity or another signal over time, so a shipment or a room has a record rather than a spot reading. The interval, the memory and the sensor range are the specification. A logger that is full has stopped being a record.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
