Description
edge® pH/°C electrode with matching pin for laboratory and beer is a refillable glass pH electrode with temperature sensor, single ceramic junction and matching pin for general laboratory applications and beer analysis. An onboard microchip retains sensor type, ID and calibration information so edge® can load buffer history, date, time and offset/slope data as soon as the probe is attached. The double Ag/AgCl reference uses 3,5 M KCl electrolyte with a junction flow of 15–20 µL/h. pH range is 0 to 14, and the spherical tip measures 9,5 mm in diameter. Connection uses a 3,5 mm jack on a 1 m cable. Recommended temperature range is −5 to 100 °C, maximum pressure 0,1 bar, with integrated temperature sensor and amplifier. Matching pin is included. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer Hanna Instruments, this edge® electrode combines stored calibration intelligence with a matching pin for demanding lab and brewing measurement setups.

Questions about Digital Glass Body pH Electrode with Matching Pin for General Purpose
What is this article?
Digital Glass Body pH Electrode with Matching Pin for General Purpose is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hanna Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
Which category should I open next?
