Description

EasySyn 500 Starter is a complete laboratory reactor system for organic or aqueous synthesis, supporting safe and reproducible chemical reactions on the path from laboratory to pilot scale. The package comprises an ergonomically designed stand for rapid vessel exchange and working-height adjustment, a DN 100 vessel clamp, and a double-walled 500 ml reactor vessel of chemically resistant borosilicate 3.3 glass with bottom outlet. A spring-loaded valve spindle on the drain valve helps prevent glass breakage. The reactor lid provides multiple openings (1 × NS 29/32 stirrer guide, 2 × NS 29/32, 1 × NS 14/23) for flexible adaptation to the intended application. High-quality materials permit operation at temperatures from −50 to 200 °C and under vacuum down to 3 mbar. The system from manufacturer IKA includes a powerful EUROSTAR 60 digital overhead stirrer with 60 Ncm torque and quick-action chuck, a PTFE-coated pitched-blade stirrer for thorough mixing and chemical resistance, plus a high-grade stirrer guide rated for vacuum service to 3 mbar. A DN 100 clamping ring and FEP-coated O-ring complete the chemically resistant seal. Further vessels, lids, sensors, thermostats and automation components are available as accessories; temperature hoses for thermostat connection are not included in the scope of supply.

Questions about EasySyn 500 Starter, Laboratory reactor 500 ml

What is this article?

EasySyn 500 Starter, Laboratory reactor 500 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
