Description

Pt100 external sensor with a 900 × 6 mm ø probe is intended for remote temperature measurement in laboratory and process temperature-control setups. The sensing element is built from stainless steel with a PTFE coating, combining mechanical stability with a chemically resistant outer surface for immersion use. A 3 m connection cable allows flexible positioning of the probe relative to the instrument. The sensor is suitable for continuous operation across a temperature range from −75 °C to 250 °C, covering both low-temperature and elevated process conditions. Supplied as 1 pc with a net weight of 0,412 kg, this external Pt100 probe from manufacturer Julabo supports accurate external temperature acquisition in baths, reactors and other vessels where the sensor must sit away from the main controller. The extended probe length is particularly practical for deeper immersion points, while the PTFE-coated stainless-steel construction helps maintain integrity of the wetted parts. Compatible with temperature-control systems that accept standard Pt100 external sensors, it provides a straightforward route to process-side temperature feedback without altering the primary instrument configuration.

What is this article?

External Pt100 sensor 900 x 6 mm dia., stainless steel, PTFE coated, -75…+ is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Julabo for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
