Description
HALO™ Bluetooth® pH/°C electrode is a high-quality gel-filled glass combination sensor with a double-junction design and an integrated temperature sensor for automatic temperature-compensated calibration and measurement. The double-junction arrangement keeps the gel electrolyte free of silver chloride between the internal reference and the sample, helping to reduce junction clogging. Measurement data are transmitted wirelessly via Bluetooth® 4.0 over a range of up to 10 m to the free Hanna Lab App or to a paired edge® blu pH meter. One-press connect, a blue Halo status LED, sample tagging at the push of a button and internally stored calibration data streamline laboratory workflows. A replaceable CR2032 lithium battery provides approximately 500 hours of use. The pH range is 0 to 12; the spherical tip is mounted on a 120 mm glass body with 12 mm outer diameter and 183 mm overall length. Recommended application temperature is −5 to 80 °C. The electrode from manufacturer Hanna Instruments is delivered with storage solution, cleaning solution, pH 7.01 and pH 4.01 buffers, battery, quality certificate and instruction manual as a single-piece pack.

Questions about HALO Glass Body Gel Filled pH Electrode with Bluetooth®
What is this article?
HALO Glass Body Gel Filled pH Electrode with Bluetooth® is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hanna Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
Which category should I open next?
