Description

Benchtop pH meter METRIA model M92 is a laboratory ORP and pH instrument offering automatic or manual temperature compensation from 0 to 100 °C. The pH range extends from −2,000 to 20,000 with 0,001 resolution and ± 0,002 accuracy; redox measurement covers ± 1999 mV at ± 0,2 mV resolution. A BNC socket accepts pH or redox electrodes and a 3,5 mm phone plug connects the CAT temperature sensor. Automatic calibration supports one to five points using USA, NIST, DIN or custom buffers, with a recalibration reminder adjustable from 1 to 31 days. A backlit LCD indicates measurement stability and an extended memory holds 500 readings. The package from manufacturer Labbox includes buffer solutions (pH 4,01, 7,00 and 10,01), electrode holder, METRIA electrode PHEL-GB1-001 (maximum working temperature 80 °C), CAT temperature sensor PHMT-PT1-001 and a USB cable. Operation is at 220 V / 50 Hz with a two-year warranty; combination with magnetic stirrer STIS-000-001 is recommended for stirred samples.

Questions about METRIA bench top pHmeter model M92, 1pcs, EU plug

What is this article?

METRIA bench top pHmeter model M92, 1pcs, EU plug is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
