Description

Minisart® NML syringe filter 17598----------Q is a surfactant-free cellulose acetate (SFCA) syringe filter for clarification of aqueous solutions and oils in the pH range 4–8. Type 17598 provides a pore size of 0,45 µm and a Luer cone outlet, enabling consistent clear filtration during laboratory sample preparation. The cellulose acetate membrane contains no wetting agents, which supports clean handling of aqueous and oily samples where residual surfactants are undesirable. Version Q is supplied non-sterile in a bag; individual units may subsequently be sterilised by gamma irradiation or ethylene oxide (EO) according to user protocols. These Minisart® NML filters from manufacturer Sartorius are available only in the EU/EEA and registered countries. The pack contains 500 pieces, offering an economical bulk format for high-throughput clarification tasks. With defined 0,45 µm porosity, SFCA chemistry and Luer cone connection, the filter suits routine aqueous and oil filtration workflows prior to analysis or further processing.

This article is part of Syringe filters, in Filtration.

Questions about MinisartCA;0,45m;28mm;nsterile;500

What is this article?

MinisartCA;0,45m;28mm;nsterile;500 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Sartorius for laboratory use. It sits in Syringe filters, inside Filtration, in Lab consumables.

A syringe filter is a membrane in a plastic housing on a Luer fitting. Pore size, membrane polymer and diameter are the three choices. 0.2 µm is the sterilising and the HPLC-particle cut. 0.45 µm is the coarser clarification. Aqueous and solvent-resistant membranes are different polymers.

Filtration holds back what is larger than the pores and lets the rest through. Paper is the ordinary laboratory filter. A membrane has a stated pore size and a polymer that must survive the solvent. A syringe filter is that membrane in a housing on a syringe. Glass fibre takes a higher dirt load. Ultrafiltration holds back macromolecules and passes salts. The pore size, the chemical compatibility and the volume are the three choices. Laboratory apparatus around filtration is indexed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
