Description

MultiVac 301-MB-T vacuum filtration system is a complete 230 V laboratory filtration package built around an oil-free Rocker 400 vacuum pump and a three-outlet stainless steel MultiVac 301-MB manifold. The set includes three 100 ml stainless steel filter holders, a 4000 ml polypropylene collection vessel with drain, a burner, 100 pieces of 47 mm MCE membrane at 0,45 µm, and 2 m of silicone tubing. This ready-to-use configuration supports multi-sample vacuum filtration for microbiology, water analysis and routine sample preparation without assembling components from separate sources. Stainless steel holders and manifold provide durable, cleanable contact surfaces, while the large PP receiver with drain simplifies filtrate handling and emptying. The oil-free pump keeps the vacuum path free of oil mist, which is advantageous for sensitive applications. Supplied as one complete system from manufacturer Witeg, the MultiVac 301-MB-T arrangement is suited to laboratories that need a coordinated pump, manifold, holders, membranes and tubing solution for parallel filtration work at 230 V.

Questions about MultiVac 301-MB-T Vacuum Filtration System 230V

What is this article?

MultiVac 301-MB-T Vacuum Filtration System 230V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Witeg for laboratory use. It sits in Bottle-top & vacuum filtration units, inside Filtration, in Lab consumables.

A bottle-top filter or a vacuum filtration unit sits on a bottle and pulls a liquid through a membrane under vacuum. Pore size and membrane are the same choice as a syringe filter, at a larger area. A sterile unit is a stated claim. The bottle neck has to match.

Filtration holds back what is larger than the pores and lets the rest through. Paper is the ordinary laboratory filter. A membrane has a stated pore size and a polymer that must survive the solvent. A syringe filter is that membrane in a housing on a syringe. Glass fibre takes a higher dirt load. Ultrafiltration holds back macromolecules and passes salts. The pore size, the chemical compatibility and the volume are the three choices. Laboratory apparatus around filtration is indexed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
