Description
neoChoice Air/gas probe NiCr-Ni supports rapid temperature measurements on surfaces, in liquids, air and gases as well as soft-plastic media. The instrument offers two measuring ranges with different resolutions and operates with any standard 2-pole NiCrNi probe. Overall measuring range extends from -65 °C to +1150 °C; range 1 covers -65 °C to +199,9 °C at 0,1 °C resolution while range 2 covers -65 °C to +1150 °C at 1 °C resolution. Accuracy is stated as +/- 0,05 % for the lower range and +/- 0,1 % for the full range. A 13 mm easily readable LCD display, low power consumption with battery life up to 2000 hours, and an ABS plastic housing complete the unit. Dimensions are 106 x 67 x 30 mm with an approximate weight of 135 g. The probe connection uses a 2-pole standard flat plug compatible with common NiCrNi sensors. This compact device from manufacturer neolab - Labor is supplied as 1 pc for versatile laboratory temperature monitoring.
This article is part of Temperature probes & sensors, in Temperature measurement.

Questions about neoChoice Air/gas probe NiCr-Ni
What is this article?
neoChoice Air/gas probe NiCr-Ni is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.
A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
Which category should I open next?
