Description
InLab® Viscous Pro-ISM is a combined pH electrode built around the SteadyForce™ reference system with DPA electrolyte at 2,5 bar overpressure. That pressurised reference design prevents diaphragm fouling, so the sensor remains contamination-resistant and low-maintenance in viscous and liquid media such as ointments, creams and soiled solutions. A silver-ion barrier and an integrated NTC 30 kOhm temperature sensor complete the SteadyForce™ architecture; connection is via an S7 screw head. Specified working ranges are pH 0 to 14 and 0 to 100 °C, with a membrane resistance of 600 MOhm at 25 °C. Reference electrolyte is Friscolyt-C; the indicated storage solution is Fiscolyt B. Shaft length is 120 mm, with shaft diameters of 12 mm and 6 mm. Net weight is 0,1 kg and the unit is supplied as one piece. This InLab® Viscous Pro-ISM electrode from manufacturer Mettler-Toledo OnLine is intended for laboratory pH work on challenging sample matrices where stable reference performance and integrated temperature compensation are required.

Questions about pH electrode InLab Viscous Pro-ISM
What is this article?
pH electrode InLab Viscous Pro-ISM is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Mettler-Toledo OnLine for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
Which category should I open next?
