Description

The PH60-HT pH meter set is a portable professional solution for accurate pH measurement in high-temperature and/or corrosive aqueous solutions. It pairs the PH60 meter with the LabSen 865 ATC/pH electrode, engineered with a specialised PHY membrane and PTFE anti-clogging diaphragm to withstand elevated temperatures and complex liquids. Intelligent functions comprise automatic 1- to 3-point calibration, automatic temperature compensation from 0 to 50 °C and a Heads-Up feature. The IP67-rated housing is waterproof, dustproof and buoyant. Supplied by manufacturer APERA Instruments, the meter covers –2,00 to 16,00 pH at ±0,01 accuracy, ORP ±1000 mV and temperature 0 to 50 °C with 0,1 °C resolution. The electrode supports 0–13 pH and temperatures up to 130 °C. The complete set contains the PH60 meter, LabSen 865 electrode, ready-to-use calibration solutions (pH 4,00, 7,00 and 10,01, 50 ml each), three calibration vials, 3M KCl storage solution, CalBox and carrying case. Powered by four AAA batteries for up to 1000 hours, the meter measures 40 × 40 × 178 mm and weighs 133 g (700 g with case). A two-year manufacturer warranty covers the meter (six months on the electrode).

Questions about PH60 Premium pH pocket meter

What is this article?

PH60 Premium pH pocket meter is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
