Description
PH800 benchtop pH meter set is an easy-to-operate, reliable instrument designed for research and scientific laboratories. It measures pH from -2,00 to 19,00 with selectable resolution of 0,1/0,01 and accuracy of ±0,01 ± 1 digit, supported by automatic 1- to 3-point calibration. The BNC electrode connection features input current ≤ 10⁻¹² A and input impedance ≥ 10¹² Ω. Temperature compensation operates from 0 to 100 °C (automatic or manual). Parallel mV measurement covers ±1999 mV at 1 mV resolution with 0,1 % F.S. ± 1 digit accuracy. Temperature is measured from 0 to 100 °C at 0,1 °C resolution and ±0,5 °C ± 1 digit accuracy via Cinch connection.
This article is part of pH meters, in pH & electrochemistry.
The complete set from manufacturer APERA Instruments comprises the PH800 meter, 201T-F pH/temperature electrode, 602 electrode holder, pH 4,00 / 7,00 / 10,01 calibration solutions (50 ml each), USB cable, PC-Link software, operating manual and DC 9 V/300 mA power supply. Up to 500 data groups store numbering, date, time, measured value, unit and temperature; data export is via USB. The IP54 housing measures 240 × 235 × 103 mm and weighs 1 kg (3,2 kg packed). A 3-year manufacturer warranty applies to the meter (6 months on the electrode).

Questions about PH800 Laboratory Benchtop pH Meter Kit
What is this article?
PH800 Laboratory Benchtop pH Meter Kit is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
