ROTI®Cell Neuro Basal Medium is specifically formulated to ensure optimized cultivation of prenatal and fetal neurons, without the need for an astrocyte feeder layer.
The medium is free of neurotransmitters such as glutamate and aspartate. The specific selection of salts and trace elements allows for low osmotic pressure on the cells.The ready-to-use medium is obtained by adding the chemically defined supplements ROTI®Cell N-2 Supplement (Order No. 3H87.1) or ROTI®Cell NS21 Supplement (Order No. 3H88.1).
