Le système d'agitation MIXdrive 6 avec commande externe est un agitateur magnétique ultra-plat et sans usure comportant six positions d'agitation, optimisé pour le travail simultané avec six Erlenmeyer de 1000 ml. Les 6 (2 × 3) positions utilisent un entraînement par induction 2mag 100 % sans usure et sans entretien pour un mélange puissant, une rotation entièrement synchrone et une agitation sans à-coups même à basse vitesse. Le volume d'agitation maximal par position est de 3000 ml ; la puissance d'agitation maximale est de 40 W. Le boîtier en acier inoxydable entièrement encapsulé et hermétiquement scellé est classé IP68, étanche à l'eau, à la poussière et aux germes, très robuste et facile à nettoyer. Il est immergeable dans des bains d'eau ou d'huile et adapté aux incubateurs à CO2 et aux étuves (version de base jusqu'à +50 °C). L'espacement des positions est de 130 mm ; les dimensions hors tout sont 245 x 375 x 38 mm (W x D x H). Développé et fabriqué en Allemagne par le fabricant 2mag, l'appareil nécessite un contrôleur MIXcontrol séparé (à commander séparément). Tension de service max. 48 VDC ; poids net 8.6 kg.
