b.safe Waste Cap S60 is a laboratory screw cap for canisters with S60 thread, featuring a yellow glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF) body and a freely rotatable PTFE insert. The insert turns independently of the outer cap so capillaries remain untwisted during opening and closing. Three UNF 1/4" ports accept PFA fittings for capillary outer diameters of 1,6 mm, 2,2 mm and 3,2 mm; green, violet and yellow fittings are included along with milky-white PFA blind fittings for unused connections. A GL14 threaded port allows installation of a b.safe exhaust air filter for vapour control (filter not included). No hose olive is part of this variant. Supplied by manufacturer Bohlender within the b.safe range, the cap is suited to HPLC and analytical waste collection where three capillary lines and filtered venting are required on an S60 canister.
