Description
C 7000 Set 2 basic equipment is a halogen-resistant calorimeter configuration for determining the gross calorific value of liquid and solid samples. It is the first IKA calorimeter with a completely dry instrument design; temperature detection takes place directly in the digestion system, enabling measurement times in the range of three to seven minutes depending on the sample. The system manages up to eight different digestion vessels via coding and provides exact, reproducible calorific-value determination according to ISO 1928. Automated measuring sequences reduce routine work, digestion vessels are recognised automatically, and interfaces are available for balance, printer and PC. A special vessel supports halogen and sulphur digestion, and the vessels can be converted for the C 14 disposable crucible. This basic equipment set from manufacturer IKA consists of the C 7000 measuring cell, C 7012 halogen-resistant digestion vessel, C 7002 cooling system and C 48 oxygen station. High sample throughput and the dry design make the configuration suitable for demanding laboratory calorimetry workflows where halogen resistance is required.
