DURAN® Spherical Joint Socket, non rodé (poli) S 41/25 est un composant en verre borosilicaté 3.3 qui assure l'étanchéité uniquement au moyen d'une bague d'étanchéité et non d'une surface rodée. Deux options de bagues d'étanchéité sont disponibles : bagues en silicone revêtues de FEP ou bagues VITON. La taille nominale reflète le diamètre nominal du joint sphérique et, le cas échéant, la largeur libre du diamètre du tube. Cette variante permet des raccordements flexibles dans la plage angulaire de 10–15° et autorise un travail sans graisse. Une fermeture étanche est obtenue en montant une bague d'étanchéité supplémentaire.
