Description
FT900 FT immersion cooler is used primarily for counter-cooling in combination with heating thermostats and for the rapid cooling of liquids to low temperature values. Its compact construction requires only a small footprint, allowing space-saving placement beside baths, reactors or thermostat circuits. As a cost-effective alternative to conventional tap-water cooling, the unit helps avoid unnecessary cooling-water consumption while remaining simple to operate and handle across varied laboratory cooling tasks. The series is also described as suitable for use as a dry-ice substitute where appropriate. Cooling capacity figures are stated according to DIN 12876; values up to 20 °C are measured with ethanol and above 20 °C with thermal oil unless otherwise indicated, and stated performance applies at an ambient temperature of 20 °C. Results may differ with other temperature-control fluids. This immersion cooler from manufacturer Julabo supports flexible counter-cooling and batch cool-down work without a large permanent water-cooling installation. Net weight is 57,500 kg.
