Description

HPM BScope BEPLi binocular is a training and laboratory microscope with infinity-corrected optics and an integrated Köhler field diaphragm. The binocular/trinocular tube provides 30° inclined, 360° rotatable viewing and a dual adjustable ergo function, mounted on a full-metal stand with practical grip recesses. Wide-field eyepieces WF 10x/20 mm combine with E-Plan objectives 4x, 10x, S40x and S100x (40x and 100x spring-loaded) in a quadruple nosepiece to deliver magnifications of 40x, 100x, 400x and 1000x. An integrated mechanical stage of 152 x 131 mm uses rack-and-belt drive designed for easy one-hand operation. The height-adjustable Abbe condenser (N.A. 1,25) is equipped with iris diaphragm and filter holder. Illumination is a regulable 3 W NeoLED system that can optionally run on batteries. This infinity-corrected configuration from manufacturer Windaus is supplied with dust cover, mains cable and operating manual; further accessories appear in the literature and are available on request. It supports teaching and laboratory brightfield work where Köhler-ready infinity optics are preferred.

Questions about HPM BScope BEPLi, binokular

What is this article?

HPM BScope BEPLi, binokular is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Windaus for laboratory use. It sits in Microscope objectives, eyepieces & optics, inside Microscopy & histology, in Instruments de laboratoire.

An objective makes the resolution. Magnification and numerical aperture are the two numbers, and the tube length or the infinity correction has to match the microscope. An eyepiece mostly enlarges the image the objective already resolved. A mismatched objective does not become sharper by zooming.

A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
