ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-116 is a ROTI®Star nine-element standard solution for inorganic trace analysis, with stated concentrations in mg/l of Al (400), Ca (2000), Fe (120), K (400), Mg (1400), Mn (200), Na (80), P (200) and S (300) in 5 % HNO3. The 100 ml pack has a density of approximately 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point above 83 °C. This mixed standard supports water analysis and inorganic parameter determination by ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AAS and ion chromatography, bringing alkali metals, alkaline earths, iron, manganese, phosphorus and sulphur together in one nitric acid matrix. Laboratories can use the CR-116 composition when several of these analytes are required in a single calibration or control solution rather than combining separate single-element stocks. The solution from manufacturer Carl ROTH is identified as UN number 2031 due to the nitric acid medium. ROTI®Star CR-116 is intended for spectrometric and chromatographic workflows that quantify these nine elements in aqueous samples under nitric acid conditions used in ICP methods.
