Description
Level indicator, type 3 is a mechanical fill-level monitoring device for barrels and collection containers of up to 200 litres. It connects via a G3/4'' (m) thread and is manufactured from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), with a float of 150 mm length and 18 mm diameter. Status LEDs and an acoustic buzzer deliver timely optical and acoustic warnings before the fill level of collection vessels reaches a critical height. During container changes the alarm can be muted on the integrated touchpad. Pumps and other external equipment are controlled conveniently through the built-in interface, while two fill levels can be supervised at the same time. The unit is compatible with switching amplifiers. Under ATEX directives, Ex-sensors used in potentially explosive atmospheres must be installed together with a switching amplifier, and signal boxes as well as amplifiers must remain outside the Ex zone.
