Description
LPB 623i precision balance is a single-range Luna series laboratory balance with a maximum capacity of 620 g and a readability of 0,001 g. It is fitted with a 120 mm diameter weighing pan and a draft shield with manual opening for controlled weighing conditions. Internal calibration supports convenient adjustment without external weights. RS-232 and USB interfaces allow reliable connection to laboratory computers and peripherals. Built-in functions cover weighing, parts counting, percentage weighing, animal and dynamic weighing, density determination, checkweighing and net total calculation. The balance is not legal-for-trade certified and does not operate on batteries. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer AE Adam, the LPB 623i includes a three-year warranty and is intended for precise routine work in research, production control and analytical laboratories that benefit from internal calibration and versatile application modes.

Questions about LPB 623i Präzisionswaage
What is this article?
LPB 623i Präzisionswaage is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes AE Adam for laboratory use. It sits in Balances de précision, inside Balances et bascules, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A precision balance reads more coarsely than an analytical balance, often 1 mg or 10 mg, and it takes a heavier pan load. It is the balance for preparing bulk reagents. Draft, level and a warm-up still move the last digit.
A balance compares a mass with a standard. An analytical balance reads to 0.1 mg or finer and needs a draft shield and a stable bench. A precision balance is coarser and faster. A platform scale takes a heavier load. The reading is only as good as the calibration chain back to the kilogram, which is why test weights and a certificate exist. A moisture analyser is a balance with a heater: it records the loss of mass as water leaves. The unit of mass is kept by the BIPM, compared across Europe by EURAMET, and accredited by BELAC. NIST publishes the same measurement foundations.
