Description
LR-2.ST the Versatile is a modular laboratory reactor developed for optimising and reproducing chemical reaction, mixing and homogenisation processes at laboratory scale. Secure stirrer shaft mounts transmit high motor torque reliably. Free ports in the reactor lid accommodate dispersing instruments (ULTRA-TURRAX®), temperature sensors, flow breakers and additional accessories. Suitable for vacuum service, the reactor uses product-contact seals of solvent- and temperature-resistant perfluoroelastomer (FFPM). Speed is infinitely adjustable; an integrated torque-trend display tracks viscosity changes, while microprocessor control maintains the selected speed under load. The removable Wireless Controller (WiCo) permits safe operation in a laboratory fume hood. From manufacturer IKA the system is delivered complete with stand system, EUROSTAR 100 control laboratory stirrer featuring both clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation, safety shut-off and reactor lid, offering flexible direction of agitation for specialised laboratory applications.
