Description
PRESTO A45 process thermostat is an air-cooled, highly dynamic temperature control unit that operates independently of a cooling-water supply, giving flexible installation in laboratory and process settings. The PRESTO platform is designed for high-precision temperature regulation in applications such as reactor tempering and material stress testing. Efficient components allow extremely fast compensation of exothermic and endothermic reactions. Heating capacity reaches up to 12 kW and cooling capacity up to 3,5 kW, with performance data determined according to DIN 12876. Temperature stability is specified at ±0,05 to ±0,1 °C. A centrifugal pump provides pressures up to 3,2 bar and maximum flow rates of 76 l/min. Permanent internal monitoring and self-lubricating pumps contribute to a long service life. The instrument from manufacturer Julabo includes an integrated 5,7'' industrial colour touchscreen, Pt100 external sensor connection, alarm output and a removable ventilation grille; a second Pt100 connection plus analogue, RS485 and Profibus DP interfaces are available as accessories. Extensive networking options support remote operation and integration into higher-level control systems. Supplied as 1 pc; net weight 206,000 kg.

Questions about PRESTO A45 Highly dynamic temperature control system
What is this article?
PRESTO A45 Highly dynamic temperature control system is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Julabo for laboratory use. It sits in Circulators, chillers & thermostats, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Instruments de précision.
A circulator or thermostat holds a bath liquid at a set temperature and pumps it through a jacket. A chiller is the same idea aimed below ambient. The temperature range, the cooling power and the pump flow are the three numbers. The fluid has to match the range.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
