PRESTO A80 process thermostat is a highly dynamic temperature control system available in air- or water-cooled variants with a two-stage refrigeration machine, providing high cooling and heating performance for low temperatures down to -80 °C. It is intended for precise temperature regulation in reactor tempering, material stress tests and similar laboratory or process applications, and compensates exothermic and endothermic reactions extremely quickly through efficient components. Heating capacity reaches up to 3,4 kW and cooling capacity up to 1,2 kW. A centrifugal pump delivers pressures up to 1,7 bar and a maximum flow rate of 40 l/min, with temperature stability of ±0,01 … ±0,05 °C. The instrument features an integrated 5,7'' colour industrial touchscreen, a Pt100 external sensor connection, analogue interfaces, RS485 and optional Profibus DP, an alarm output and a removable ventilation grille; a second Pt100 connection is available as accessory. Permanent internal monitoring and self-lubricating pumps support a long service life, while extensive interfaces allow remote control via networks or integration into higher-level control systems.
