Description

Nalgene™ tank liners of coex polyethylene film are flat-bottom open-bag liners designed for economical single-use handling of biopharmaceutical and diagnostic reagent liquids in rigid Nalgene cylindrical plastic tanks. The coex polyethylene film is animal-derived component free (ADCF), gamma-irradiated, food-grade, non-cytotoxic and certified pyrogen-free, making it suitable for controlled laboratory and production settings. This 7.5 gal. (28 l) version fits the corresponding Nalgene cylindrical tanks and belongs to a family covering 19 l (5 gal.) up to 787 l (200 gal.). Using disposable liners extends mixing flexibility while minimising cleaning effort and residual contamination between batches. Delivered as a case of 10 pieces from manufacturer Thermo Scientific, the liners support efficient, single-use fluid processing workflows. The open-bag construction permits easy placement into the tank and straightforward removal after use, helping laboratories maintain process hygiene and throughput when working with sensitive reagent systems.

Questions about Tank Liner,28L/7.5Gal, 25kGy

What is this article?

Tank Liner,28L/7.5Gal, 25kGy is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics for laboratory use. It sits in Bidons & jerrycans, inside Bouteilles et contenants, in Matériel de laboratoire.

A canister or jerrycan holds litres, not millilitres, and it is shaped to be carried and to pour. The material has to survive the liquid for the whole time the can sits in the store.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
