Universal Waste Hub "JAN" - B83 is a safety funnel and smart universal solution for collecting liquid laboratory waste. This multifunctional unit combines a funnel with lid, hose and HPLC connections, and an integrated exhaust air filter to deliver higher safety than conventional setups. High-quality PE-HD and PTFE materials ensure durability in daily laboratory use. The funnel lid incorporates a sealing lip that prevents escape of harmful vapours, while a removable dirt sieve simplifies cleaning. The 140 mm funnel pan supports high flow for larger liquid volumes. Included are an exhaust air filter size M with six-month service life, fittings, connections and blanking plugs, plus splash protection with change indicator. Connection layout comprises 4× 1,6/2,3/3,2 mm OD ports with 4× PFA blank plugs and 3× 5,0–11,5 mm ID ports with 3× PTFE blank plugs. From manufacturer SCAT, the hub is offered in various thread sizes, can be extended with thread adapters, and remains compatible with all SCAT exhaust filter sizes (S/M/L). An electrically conductive version for flammable and explosive waste is also available within the range.
