Varispenser® 2x, 2,5 – 25 mL is a single-channel bottle-top dispenser intended for accurate liquid handling across laboratory applications. It incorporates a recirculation valve together with a telescopic suction tube of 170 – 330 mm length for flexible matching to bottle height. The unit is fitted with a GL 45 standard thread that suits nearly all customary laboratory bottle threads and is supplied with adapters GL 32, GL 38 and S 40. Safety valve balls located in the discharge valve prevent leakage of liquid whenever the discharge cannula is not attached. The cap of the pressure-equalisation valve can be removed to simplify installation of a drying tube. An oval dispenser housing supports easy transport, while the PFA sealing lip of the piston guards against jamming. Volume adjustment is performed rapidly and safely by means of a lockable slide running on the internal toothed rail. All parts involved in the dosing process offer high chemical resistance. Completely autoclavable without dismantling and provided with an optional user-calibration facility, this bottle dispenser from manufacturer Eppendorf comes as one piece with a net weight of 0,510 kg for reliable routine use.
