Dynamische klimaatkamer MKT240-480V-C is een milieusimulatiekast ontworpen voor cyclische temperatuurtests van −70 °C tot +180 °C. Met een nominaal volume van 228 l gebruikt zij APT.line™-voorverwarmingskamertechnologie, geforceerde-luchttempering, een roestvrijstalen interieur en roestvrijstalen planken, plus cascadecompressiekoeling met CFK-vrije koudemiddelen R-452A en R-23 en een lamellenverdamper. Een verwarmd kijkvenster met LED-binnenverlichting, programmeerbare condensatiebescherming voor monsters, deurverwarming, instelbare rampfunctie en thermische isolatie van PUR-schuim ondersteunen een stabiele werking. Vier potentiaalvrije schakelcontacten kunnen worden geactiveerd via de MCS-controller; de eenheid biedt verder tijdsegmentprogrammering, LCD-kleurenmonitordisplay, Ethernet-computerinterface, geïntegreerde grafiekrecorder, realtimeklok en een Pt 100-temperatuursensor. De veiligheid wordt aangepakt door een klasse 2 temperatuurkeuzelimiet (DIN 12880) met optisch alarm en een foutdiagnosesysteem met optisch en akoestisch alarm. Mobiliteit wordt geboden door vier zwenkwielen (twee vergrendelbaar) en een toegangspoort van 50 mm aan de linkerzijde met siliconenplug.
