Xplorer plus 50–1,000 µL is a single-channel electronic air-cushion pipette engineered for straightforward handling, high precision and excellent reproducibility. A multifunction rocker employing “up is up” and “down is down” logic controls aspiration and dispensing, while a selection dial provides immediate access to every pipetting mode. The clear colour display is free of nested sub-menus and is angled for comfortable reading from any position; nine display languages are available. Spring-loaded tip cones on all variants up to 1,000 µL lower the forces required for tip attachment. A high-capacity battery delivers up to eight hours of operation and permits continued work during mains charging. Both factory-pre-set and user-defined adjustments allow adaptation to altitude, dense liquids or elongated tips. Lower parts are autoclavable for easy decontamination on all models including Move It®. Additional capabilities comprise individual programming, fixed-volume storage, password protection, an on/off switch, extra applications and maintenance-interval indication. The blue colour-coded instrument from manufacturer Eppendorf features the ACT® label; combined with epT.I.P.S.® tips it aids sustainable purchasing decisions and holds independent ACT certification from My Green Lab.
