C 7000 Set 1 is a complete basic calorimeter system for determining the calorific value of liquid and solid samples. As the first IKA calorimeter with a fully dry instrument design, it measures temperature directly inside the digestion system, achieving sample-dependent measuring times of only 3 to 7 minutes. The system supports high sample throughput and delivers exact, reproducible results in accordance with ISO 1928. Automated measurement sequences reduce routine handling, while coded recognition manages up to eight different digestion vessels. Interfaces are provided for balance, printer and PC connection; digestion vessels can be converted for use with the disposable crucible C 14. The basic equipment set comprises the C 7000 measuring cell, C 7010 standard digestion vessel, C 7002 cooling system and C 48 oxygen station.
