Reactievat, cilindrisch, gegradueerd met groef in de vlakke flens. In de bodem van het reactievat is een aftapkraan ingebed. Reactievaten tot 6 liter met een kraandoorlaat Ø van 10 mm; vanaf 10 liter met een kraandoorlaat Ø van 20 mm. Het reactievat met vlakke flens wordt afgesloten met een deksel dat apart verkrijgbaar is. Beide delen worden bij elkaar gehouden door een klemring. Een afdichtring, of het gebruik van slijpvet, voorkomt dat de slijpvlakken vastlopen. Geschikte siliconen en FEP afdichtringen zijn apart verkrijgbaar. Het vat met vlakke flens kan via diverse standaard geslepen verbindingen in het deksel worden gecombineerd met andere componenten (bijv. koelers, roerassen en druppeltrechters).Toepassingsgebieden: preparatieve werkzaamheden, zoals algemene reacties, destillaties en verdampingen.
