PULVERISETTE 7 classic line planetary micro mill is designed for ultra-fine grinding of hard to soft materials down to colloidal fineness, either dry or in suspension, and for thorough mixing and homogenising of emulsions and pastes. Maximum sample quantity is 40 ml with a maximum feed size of 5 mm depending on the material; grinding can be performed dry or wet. The main disk runs at 100–800 rpm and delivers high ball energy up to 39 times gravitational acceleration, giving fast, uniform size reduction with reproducible results. Loss-free milling of suspensions is supported by sealing rings in the grinding bowls. Typical application areas include chemistry, biology, pharmacology and galenical research, medicine, nuclear research, spectroscopy and X-ray fluorescence. The instrument from Fritsch is supplied as standard without grinding bowls and balls, which are available in eight materials as accessories for contamination-free work. Simple cleaning, CE-marked safety and a two-year warranty complete the package. Net weight is 35 kg (gross 55 kg). The unit is configured to the ordered supply voltage at delivery.
