Description
Microplate 96/U-PP is a sterile 96-well microplate with clear U-bottom wells and a white frame, moulded from highly transparent polypropylene (PP) for excellent sample visibility. RecoverMax® well geometry minimises residual volume and supports efficient mixing, while raised well rims and a smooth surface enable reliable sealing, including heat sealing. g-Safe® design provides outstanding centrifugation resistance up to 6.000 × g. The high-contrast OptiTrack® alphanumeric matrix speeds sample location by up to 30 % and helps reduce pipetting errors. Polypropylene delivers strong resistance to chemicals, mechanical stress and temperature extremes; plates remain reliably functional between −86 °C and 100 °C and are autoclavable at 121 °C for 20 min. Manufacture without mould-release agents, plasticisers or biocides avoids substances that can interfere with bioassays. Packed as 80 plates (5 bags × 16 plates), this format from manufacturer Eppendorf is suited to routine and demanding microplate workflows in research and analytical laboratories.

Questions about Microplate96/U-PP clear/white ster.80pl
What is this article?
Microplate96/U-PP clear/white ster.80pl is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Microplates, inside Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes, in Lab consumables.
A microplate is an array of wells, commonly 96 or 384, in clear, black or white plastic. Clear is for absorbance. Black is for fluorescence. The well shape, flat or round bottom, and whether the plate is sterile and treated for cells, are the specification. Not every 96-well plate fits every reader.
A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
