Description
Metal temperature control hose (M16x1), -100 °C … +350 °C, 1,5 m is a flexible stainless-steel temperature control line for laboratory and industrial circulating systems that operate over extreme temperature spans. Fabricated from stainless steel 1.4404, it is rated for continuous use from -100 °C to +350 °C and is fitted with a special triple-layer insulation whose ends are protected by silicone caps. Connection is via an M16x1 thread; outer diameter is 45 mm and internal diameter is 10 mm, with a black exterior finish. Maximum allowable pressure is 6 bar at 20 °C and 4 bar at 350 °C, and the minimum bend radius of 190 mm allows controlled routing around instruments and baths. Fire behaviour is specified as UL94-HB / UL94-V2. Supplied as one piece with a net weight of 1,900 kg, this metal temperature control hose from manufacturer Julabo is intended for refrigerated and heating circulators, external temperature control loops and closed systems that benefit from durable metal tubing. The 1,5 m length suits medium-distance connections between thermostat and application while remaining manageable on the bench.
This article is part of PVC, PTFE & other tubing, in Tubing, hoses & fittings.

Questions about 1.5 m Metal tubing, triple-insulated, 2 fittings M16x1 female (-100...+350
What is this article?
1.5 m Metal tubing, triple-insulated, 2 fittings M16x1 female (-100...+350 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Julabo for laboratory use. It sits in PVC, PTFE & other tubing, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
PVC is the flexible everyday tube for water and mild aqueous liquids. PTFE is the stiff, almost inert tube for solvents. Other polymers sit between them. The bore, the wall and the chemical resistance are the specification, and the tube is cut to length.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
