Conical tubes 25 mL with SnapTec® snap cap in amber are sterile centrifuge vessels that are pyrogen-, DNase-, RNase- and DNA-free and designed for effective protection of UV-sensitive samples. High transparency still allows full control of pipette-tip immersion depth during handling. The reduced height compared with standard 50 mL conical tubes improves access when using pipettes and tips for smaller volumes, reducing cross-contamination risk between pipette and vessel. One-handed opening and closing of the SnapTec® lid supports rapid liquid transfer, and the closure provides a secure seal over a wide temperature range. Both tube variants withstand centrifugation up to 17.000 × g. Manufactured from USP Class 6 raw material without mould-release agents, plasticisers or biocides, these amber tubes from manufacturer Eppendorf combine sample integrity with clear pellet visibility where light protection is required. The approximately 20 % lower profile saves bench and storage space; matching accessories for centrifugation, heating, mixing and storage fit existing laboratory workflows.
