MIXdrive 15 stirring system with external control is an ultra-flat, wear-free magnetic stirrer with 15 stirring positions optimised for simultaneous work with 15 × 250 ml tall-form beakers. Fifteen (3×5) stations use a maintenance-free 2mag induction drive for powerful, 100 % synchronous mixing and jerk-free stirring even at low speeds. The fully encapsulated, hermetically sealed stainless steel housing is rated IP68, water-, dust- and germ-tight, easy to clean and highly robust; it can be immersed in water or oil baths and used in CO2 incubators and ovens. The basic version is suitable up to +50 °C. Each station handles up to 3,000 ml; maximum stirring power is 40 W. Station spacing is 65 mm; housing dimensions are 245 × 375 × 38 mm. The control unit MIXcontrol must be ordered separately. Developed and made in Germany, this system from manufacturer 2mag supports multi-position mixing where a sealed, submersible drive platform is required for parallel sample processing.
