Description

A 925-P/S protective armour is a field protection assembly for IDS sensors, supplied complete with a protective tube and a stainless steel protective basket. It is intended to shield digital plug-head sensors during immersion, outdoor sampling and continuous monitoring where mechanical impact or debris could affect the sensing elements. The armour is suitable for TetraCon® 925-P conductivity sensors, SensoLyt® 900-P pH sensors, SensoLyt® ORP 900-P redox sensors and FDO® 925-P optical dissolved oxygen sensors. The open stainless steel basket design allows free exchange of the sample medium while still providing robust physical protection around the sensor tip. Offered as a single-piece unit from manufacturer WTW - a Xylem brand, this accessory supports reliable deployment of IDS electrode systems in environmental, process and industrial water analysis. With a net weight of 0,486 kg and compact outer packaging dimensions, the assembly is practical to transport and install alongside portable meters or fixed measuring stations whenever additional mechanical safeguarding of IDS field sensors is required.

Questions about A 925-P/S, Armor for IDS field sensors including guard designed for TetraCon® 92

What is this article?

A 925-P/S, Armor for IDS field sensors including guard designed for TetraCon® 92 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
