AHN myLab® SM-10 magnetic stirrer with hot plate is a multi-position laboratory instrument for mixing and heating liquids in chemical and pharmaceutical applications. Ten stirring positions each accept up to 400 mL, with a recommended magnetic stir-bar length of 25 mm. Speed is adjustable from 300 to 1500 min-1 in 10 min-1 steps, while the hot plate heats to 120 °C with homogeneous temperature distribution across the full surface. A programmable pulse mode allows the user to set direction-change intervals from 30 to 99 seconds for improved mixing, and the timer runs from 1 to 999 minutes or in continuous mode. The magnetic-drive unit measures 196 × 565 × 75 mm, stands on rubber feet for bench stability, and has an easy-to-clean waterproof surface with IP42 protection against accidental spills. One complete set from manufacturer AHN Biotechnologie includes the stirrer with hot plate, power cord, reference stir bar, operating manual and warranty card, supporting parallel sample work where controlled stirring and moderate heating are required.
