Description

ANALYSETTE 18 heavy-duty analytical sieve shaker for 230 V/1~ is a vibration sieve machine engineered for processing large sieve-material quantities in particle-size analysis and fractionation of coarse-grained samples. It deliberately avoids the drawbacks of lighter sieve shakers, where sample and sieve weight can markedly affect results, making it ideal wherever hand sieving must be replaced by machine sieving for cost or reproducibility reasons. Dry sieving covers a measuring range of 20 µm to 125 mm, with a maximum sample quantity of approximately 15 kg and typical sieving times of 5 to 60 minutes; maximum sieve diameter is 450 mm / 18". Two unbalance motors mounted at a defined opposing angle generate three-dimensional vibration that accelerates material both vertically and horizontally, shortening sieving time and improving separation sharpness. Up to twelve analytical sieves (65 mm height) plus pan and lid can be loaded per run on a universal clamping plate accepting diameters from 200 to 450 mm or 8 to 18 inches. Automatic amplitude control with continuous acceleration measurement, TwinNut quick-clamping, remote-control operation and the multilingual AUTOSIEB evaluation software (USB) deliver fast, reliable documentation. The robust unit from manufacturer Fritsch is supplied with clamping and sieve lid but without analytical sieves or pan.
