Description

Drum base heater type WODBH is a base-mounted heating unit for standard 200–220 L drums that require controlled bottom heat. It delivers 1,000 W at 230 VAC, protection class I, and a maximum permissible operating temperature of 150 °C. The carrier plate is grey glass-fibre-reinforced plastic (GRP) with a flattened front edge; the heating plate is aluminium for efficient heat transfer to the drum base. Overall height is 40 mm and net weight is 4,9 kg. The heater suits drum circumferences from 1.800 to 2,100 mm and is built to IP54. Continuous operation together with a temperature controller is mandatory; the matching controller referenced for this unit is W5570-5007 (WRL430PW-0150WIN2). For outdoor placement, additional shelter against direct weather is advised. Typical uses include laboratory, pilot-plant and industrial drum conditioning where uniform base heating is preferred. This WODBH model from manufacturer Winkler provides a compact, purpose-built solution for 200 L class drums when paired with suitable temperature control.

Questions about Base drum heater Type WODBH 200L 230V 1.000W Tmax. 150°C

What is this article?

Base drum heater Type WODBH 200L 230V 1.000W Tmax. 150°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Winkler for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
