Description

BOLA Canister S60/61 is a 10 l laboratory canister made of conductive PE-HD-EX with an S60/61 (DIN60/61) thread, originality seal and straight spout. It carries UN-Y approval and is suited to liquid storage and transfer where electrostatic dissipation is required. External dimensions are 220 × 190 × 340 mm (L × W × H). In combination with separately available BOLA canister distributors S60 and matching tubing, the container can be filled or emptied in a controlled fashion. The conductive PE-HD-EX construction supports safer handling of media sensitive to static charge in laboratory and process environments. The standardised S60 thread ensures a secure closure, while the straight spout facilitates directed pouring and reduces uncontrolled flow. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer Bohlender, this larger conductive canister offers UN-Y approval, clear dimensional specification and full compatibility with the BOLA S60 distributor and hose system for efficient bulk-liquid operations.

What is this article?

BOLA Canister S60/61, 10 l made of static dissipative PE-HD-EX, with thread S60/ is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Canisters & jerrycans, inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.

A canister or jerrycan holds litres, not millilitres, and it is shaped to be carried and to pour. The material has to survive the liquid for the whole time the can sits in the store.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
